When we were finishing up chasing a cell that never produced lightning, we were graced with an amazing sunset instead on the way back home. The sky lit up beautifully and I was enamored with the cloud formations. On this back road, there was no one to be seen which is typical of almost every chase I go on. I loved this shot with the complexity of the sunset and the wide-open road. Storm chasing often includes long days, even longer nights, and is one of the hardest aspects of photography that I shoot. But it is nights like these that I remember how blessed I am to have the knowledge and will to go shoot and capture the beauty of storms where most people will never go.
