THE BIG BREAK SHOW: OVERCOMING ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION THROUGH THE LENS OF PHOTOGRAPHY

I have been in a very unique position the last few months working for myself where I have been able to completely be open and honest about my mental health struggles over the years. I had the honor of sitting down with a childhood friend Rafael Loza who is now doing huge things in the airbnb realm and NFT realm as well as his counterpart Jesse Vasquez. We were able to have an candid conversation about my history with depression and anxiety as well as my history in the beer industry and the transition to moving over full time to my photography business this year. This one is near and dear to my heart and I hope it can help others open up about their mental health struggles and for companies to realize that we are all people first before we are employees. If we aren't in the right place mentally, then we are severely hindered in the workplace to perform at our highest levels possible. thank YOU, FOX 31 NEWS, for having me on to discuss my “colorado through the seasons” exhibit that is on display in denver international airport. I was fortunate enough to sit down with haden starbuck of the creatrix compass which focuses on creatives sharing their stories surrounding creativity. we talked about the process of storm chasing and the story behind my first lightning photo which of course involved being at a brewery. we also discussed my exhibit at denver international airport since i was installing it the week of this podcast being produced, as well as the release of my new book. i had a great time talking with haden and hopefully this give you a peek into the craziness behind some of my photos and work out there in the world!
