Back when I first started storm chasing I was pretty sporadic and would go anywhere to catch a bolt of lightning since I didn’t really know what I was doing. I chased a storm up to Loveland, CO but the storm was really intense and I couldn’t catch a shot. I ended up north of Denver near Dacono and pulled off to get this shot of lightning. The bolts were way too close and there was too much rain so I just set my tripod up on my passenger seat, rolled down the window, and I got this shot.
