2020 was a transformative year for me on the storm chasing end of things. I was heading out east regularly every week to try to get new and interesting lightning formations. I started being able to read cells better and see where the strikes were going to head towards. On this night I was trying to capture the lightning over a country road when the lightning went completely sideways on me. I loved the complexity and uniqueness of this strike.
