After I was chasing storms all night, a massive cell blew up around 1 in the morning on my drive back home. I took a detour off onto a country road even though I was exhausted and decided to chase this last cell of the storm. I was shooting the lightning for a while when I noticed the milky way trailing behind the cloud. I put my wide angle lens on to capture the lightning of the storm against the milky way in the background on one of the most unique scenes I have ever seen or been able to capture while storm chasing.
