Storm season in 2022 was off to a slow start for me as I hadn’t chased anything through mid June. That all changed on June 16th. I saw a cell starting to get some traction when I headed out to dinner with my sister and nephew. By the time we got back from dinner, the cell was completely blowing up. I snagged some shots of the clouds before I saw lightning heading out east. I had my trailer on my truck so I borrowed my sister’s car to which she said “you better not end up in Wyoming”. I chased this cell a whole 8 minutes east before I found these clouds blowing up with lightning over some farmland.
