I headed down south of Denver to catch some lightning in the late afternoon at a ridge that I knew had strong storms brewing. I tried getting a few shots at the car before I headed up to the exposed ridge. There were a couple strikes that were way too close for comfort, so I ran over to an area a little further outside of the cell. The lightning started going off right over the hill next to me, so I set up my trigger to capture a few shots.
