We arrived at Sol Duc Falls in the midst of night after adventuring around Olympic National Park all day.  We woke up early to get to the falls at the crack of dawn and I could not be more stoked to see this amazing waterfall.  The way the falls ripped through the forest with the morning light shining down intermittently through the trees made it an interesting landscape.  The mist from the water kept shooting up through the gorge and getting on the lens of the camera.  After cleaning the lens off a few times I was able to take this shot in front of the falls.  We moved to the side and back to see how this peaceful stream split into three and then became one again in the bottom of the gorge.  This was an absolutely breathtaking waterfall to capture and explore in the early morning light.
