Every morning on Maui I woke up well before sunrise due to the change in time zones and wanting to shoot as much as I possibly could. I woke up early on my last day in Lahaina and went down to the beach to watch the sunrise.  One of the aspects of Maui that I love is that there are a lot of storms that happen off of the coastline.  There was a beautiful storm in the distance and I loved the way the early morning light was radiating off of the clouds in the distance.  I also loved the beautiful hues of the flowers in front of me, however, I didn’t want that to be the main focus of this photo, so I made sure those would be blurred out in the final photo.
