When we finally made it to the Columbia River Gorge on our pacific northwest trip, the sun was fading fast and we knew we had to rush to Multnomah Falls. We stopped at another waterfall along the way before we finally made it to our destination. The orange hues were amazing as they were hitting the falls and a rainbow became visible in the light as well. I thought it was going to be slammed but to our surprise we had the falls almost completely to ourselves. Ironically we would come back the next morning to a plethora of people that was so overwhelming. I am so glad we made it there in time for a beautiful sunset and experience we would never forget.
