I normally do not enjoy or desire to shoot very famous locations. The crowds typically give me enough anxiety to stay away, however, we made it here just before sunset in the winter and I am so glad we went. I did not want to shoot where everyone else was so I hiked around until I found a vantage point that I liked. I loved the way this sandstone framed Horseshoe Bend while the beautiful colors of the sunset flared in the background. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend visiting this gorgeous location.
