The Ice Lakes Basin in Colorado is one of the most beautiful areas of the state in my opinion. After you get past Ice Lake which possesses gorgeous sky blue waters, you head up toward Island Lake. We had the perfect day up here with sun shining through which really highlighted the viridescent waters of the lake. This is one of my favorite spots in the state and it’s somewhere I always look forward to exploring again every year that I can.
