In the fall of 2023 I committed myself to attempting to shoot the fall for at least one day to capture some great fall photos. I loaded up in the truck and spent 11 hours driving this day in order to get a fall collection this year. I drove through the aspens in Crested Butte until I saw a few interesting looking aspens off in the distance. I headed over to this area and shot for a bit until I lined up to capture this bowed aspen with the sun starburst splitting through the other aspens of the forest.
