When I was kayaking around Silver Springs State Park I finally found some monkeys which is why I went there in the first place. The monkeys were released into the wild which is why they inhabit the forest now. When I took this shot I did not actually see the baby until I developed the photo- I thought it was initially a branch or extension of the tree. The monkeys were a true joy to watch running around the forest.
