When I first started shooting gators in Florida I was just trying to capture them no matter what. After a while though I started watching the way they moved, worked, and lived in nature. I came up on this small swamp and saw this gator partially in and partially out of water. I loved the way this gator had its tail sticking out of the water while its head was surfaced. This was probably my favorite gator shot that I took during my entire trip down to Florida.
